Prague, Czech Republic
We stayed at the A&O Prague Metro Strizkov for one night.
We had a beautiful room we shared with two other girls. The toilet and shower were very clean as were the bedrooms. Everything has well surpassed our expectations
The night before we got there we changed our reservation from 2 nights to one, they said it was not a problem but when we got there the reservation was totally gone from their computer system. This scared us at first but the man behind the reception was very kind to us and gave us the room anyway and even with a little discount.
The receptionist was very kind and gave very useful answers to whatever we wanted to know.
The hostel is not very close to the center of Prague but we found it was very easy and cheap to get to and from there by metro. And even if you want to go clubbing in the center of Prague there are night buses that bring you right back to the Strizkov station every half hour. (also something the receptionist explained to us very kindly)
Bella Vistas Studios was beautiful. It had all the facilities we needed, including a safe, which made us feel secure to leave our valuables in the room. The rooms were clean, big, and had a nice hot shower! The host Theo was very helpful as well, showing us around the island when driving us from the port to Bella Vista. The only thing I would say to improve is the quality of the kitchen utensils and equipment, they were sort of worn out and old, but we didn't use the kitchen much anyway. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay there. Wish I could've stayed there longer!
Sleepin Faro was a nice place to stay. It's a good hostel for people who don't need unnecessary facilities, you pay for what you use and so there are no extra's. The rooms are simple and good. The bathrooms and kitchen as well, and they were clean. The people working for Sleepin Faro are nice and welcoming! The thing I liked most is that it's open 24h and you can go out without worrying about going back before a certain time.
The location of the hostel is perfect! It's less then 5 minutes walking to the bars/pubs/restaurants and shops. The harbour is also nearby.
I enjoyed my stay, even though I was only there for one night. I would definitely go back, when I'm going to Faro again
