- La Paz,´Death Road´and the Jungle!
After a few days in small towns, La Paz is a real assault on the senses - really busy and really loud with markets spilling out into the streets. Liked it though! We stayed pretty close to the Witches Market Posted by Keaves in The Big Trip | Aug 18, 2007

- First time in La Paz
On August 7th, we slept in (again). Then we walked up and had lunch in a Lebanese restaurant here in La Paz. Very tasty. We then walked around looking in the huge Mercado Negro, looking for some bits we needed. Posted by monkyhands in Alan & Tilde | Aug 23, 2007
- At the Copa, Copacabana!
Puno was our last destination in Peru before we crossed the border into Bolivia. We stopped briefly on the Uros Islands, on the Peruvian side of Lake Titicaca, to have a gawp at the locals who live on man-made islands Posted by Keaves in The Big Trip | Aug 18, 2007
- Santa Cruz
After a short flight we were in Santa Cruz where the sun shines and the only thing worth doing is to sit and watch beautiful girls walk by...or so we were told. We arrived to a cloudy sky and cold Posted by nicdavid in Around the world in 300 days | Aug 9, 2007
- Sucre
We were very relieved to arrive in Sucre. The city seemed very chilled and we had a comfortable hotel we could call our home for the following two nights.

The journey to this city was bumpy and long. We had watched the sun set and continued along some scarey roads in a bus that had really passed its use by date! After a few windows falling out and picking Posted by nicdavid in Around the world in 300 days | Aug 9, 2007

We were now officially in Bolivia, just. We were nearly not allowed in the country due to the fact that the Peruvian officials took it upon themselves to stamp our passports with the wrong date. We had supposedly arrived in Posted by nicdavid in Around the world in 300 days | Aug 9, 2007

On August 3rd, we caught the bus across the Bolivian border to Copacabana - a town on the Bolivian side of Lake Titicaca. The bus ride all together took only about four hours, and the border crossing was easy and Posted by monkyhands in Alan & Tilde | Aug 8, 2007
