You know, one thing I hate is how during the week I get up at 6:45 (ish) and then it comes to Saturday morning, and no matter how late I’ve been out, I still wake up at 6:45.

The yuletides is almost over!

- Goodbye Rome, Hello Nairobi.
My last few weeks in Rome were good. I’ve met a lot of great people at FAO and have begun to understand a little more about how the organisation works and also my own job.

- My Car and its first Safari
I have now had my "big blue beast" of a car for some 2 weeks. Initial repairs included new windscreenwiper engine and a major tune up as the top speed was around 75 kmt when I first got it..

It only took about two months, but as of yesterday I am the proud owner of a quite old Navy blue Mitzubishi Pajero :-D

Was invited on a two day safari by Erik, Annamaria and Petra whom I met through other friends. We drove in erics huge 4wd north to Sweetwaters a small national park in the shade of Mt. Kenya.

As descibed earlier I did a wonderfull hike up an old crater called Mt. Longenot. the hike took somthing like 6 hours all in all and here are some of the views!

14th September, Masaai Mara, Kenya
Arrival in Kenya means two things: more people and lots more wildlife! We have picked up a further 6 passengers, taking the total now to 15, which has changed what had become a very tight group.
