Hey All,
I'm not as good at keeping this up anymore, now that i'm not learning as much about the culture of the areas i've been in, I'm not as inspired to write.

Hey everybody.
We're now in Laos! I did just write quite an essay about what we've been up to the last few days but the computer timed me out even though i'd bought a new ticket and everything went! Not happy.

- Day 50 - Last Of Laos
Friday we were woken up nice & early at 7am to make sure we didn't miss our 7.45am bu out of the hellhole.
It cost 28,000 kip for our bus tickets to Muang Khua & the journey was our scariest yet. Posted by Eemail2004 in Our Great Adventure | Apr 22, 2009
- Day 46 - 49 - Sun, Storms & Sticky Rice
Monday we were awoken by loud music & voices at 6.45am but couldn't tell if it was coming from another room or outside. We gave up trying to sleep & got up round 8am, immediately searching for a cheaper guesthouse Posted by Eemail2004 in Our Great Adventure | Apr 21, 2009
- Day 45 - Trying To Escape
Sunday we got up at 9am &, finding few other places open ate at Sinphet Restaurant again complete with our friendly, happy waitress. It was a mistake as Vicky's pancake was barely half cooked!

- Day 44 - Oudomxai
Saturday we really struggled to get up at 7am to be in time walk to the the bus station at the other end of Pak Beng. It was torturous walking up & downhill with rucksacks on our backs but at Posted by Eemail2004 in Our Great Adventure | Apr 20, 2009
- Laos II - Vang Vieng, Vientiane e a chegada ao Vietname
Depois de ouvirmos imensas opinioes positivas sobre Vang Vieng, decidimos ir visita-la. A maior atraccao desta vila e o "tubbing", que e suposto ser fora do normal. Apanhamos uma carrinha de Luang Prabang ate Vang Vieng... talvez uma das mais Posted by Themoffats in As Aventuras da Adriana e do Jonathan | Apr 12, 2009
- Day 43 - Pak Beng
Friday we were woken up by the maid who announced that our boat to Huay Xai left in 30 minutes. This didn't matter to us as we had decided to stay the day & leave at the weekend. I paid Posted by Eemail2004 in Our Great Adventure | Apr 18, 2009
- Water Water Everywhere
Andrew was still not feeling 100%, but despite his headache he was still up for a bit of water sports action. So we decided upon a kayak trip down to the capital city. As Laos is currently in the dry Posted by AndyGem in We're Off to See The Wizard! | Apr 18, 2009
- Day 42 - Slowboat to Pak Beng
Thursday we were up by 7.30am to catch a tuk tuk to port for 8.05am. Vix got straight onto our boat whilst I bought 4 baguettes & drinks from a nearby stall for the journey.

- Green Frogs, Green Snakes, Green Andrew
After two days boating we were ready to leave our river legs behind and explore the beautiful town of Luang Prabang with it's French provincial architecture and multi-ethnic inhabitants. - Day 39-41 - Hangin in Luang Prabang
Monday we were up at 8.30am to pack & say goodbye to Jacek, before being picked up by minibus to a VIP Bus parked on the outskirts of town. We were forced to wait another hour before the bus set Posted by Eemail2004 in Our Great Adventure | Apr 5, 2009
- Laos I - Luang Prabang
Laos nao era um pais que no inicio tinhamos decidido visitar. Sabiamos que era um pais bastante recomendado, mas se queriamos ir visitar a Malasia e Singapura nao teriamos tempo para ir a Laos. Mesmo assim, arriscamos, e chegamos a Posted by Themoffats in As Aventuras da Adriana e do Jonathan | Apr 11, 2009
- The 'slow boat' along the mighty Mekong
The slow boat is a two day cruise down the Mekong River with an overnight stop. Many of the people we have spoken to about Laos have had conflicting views about this trip so before we booked we walked to Posted by AndyGem in We're Off to See The Wizard! | Apr 9, 2009

- Day 32-35 - Viva La Vientiane
Monday we woke up at 8.30am & packed our stuff, not willing to spend another night in the expensive, poor quality place we had had to reluctantly book.

- Luang Prabang, Plain of Jars and Vieng Xai
Our time in Luang Prabang involved mainly spending too much money. They had a great night market and we bought enough to fill a large box to post home the next day. Also the french influence was very apparent here. Posted by AandSTrip in South East Asia | Mar 7, 2009
- Laos: Wrap-Up
Our time in Laos has ended. Unfortunately, between Kevin coming down sick, then Amy getting sick, and our timidness to leave the main areas due to malaria risk, our time in Laos was probably not as thorough as it Posted by amyandkev in Amy & Kev's Excellent Adventure | Mar 2, 2009
