- Saying goodbye to Nepal
Apart from hanging out in Boudha, I had a lot of exploring to do around the Kathmandu valley.
The valley used to have 3 separate city-states, each independent of the others – Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. As such, each of these Posted by Ally's ASU in My ASU Adventures | Nov 20, 2008

1. I'm not short here! Which is probably a very good thing. Especially on the buses, the ceilings and doorways are quite low, and I could comfortably stand upright when there were no seats left (which was usually the case). Posted by Ally's ASU in My ASU Adventures | Oct 14, 2008
- Around, and around, and around...
Having bid a fond farewell to Pokhara (albeit a day late because of a country-wide transportation strike!), I am now in Kathmandu for the next month. While not as geographically stunning as Pokhara, it's still a rather amazing city.
