- Creeping up the Welsh Coast
After leaving Tenby, the plan was to go up the Welsh coast in small hops, but the first such hop was ridiculous: a total of 4.5 miles. I could have walked! As it was, I had to leave my digs Posted by NZBarry in Barry in Europe | May 29, 2009
- One full on day!
This morning I got up at 7:15 am to get dressed and ready in time for ship devotions. I got up to the Dining room at 7:35 only to find out that Thursday mornings they have small study groups instead Posted by STEPofaith in STEP of faith! | May 28, 2009
- Cardiff here we come!!
Well to start where I left off yesterday: Tuesday night is Ship Family night so I had dinner with mine and met all my brothers and sisters. I'm not totally sure what I think of this whole ship family thing Posted by STEPofaith in STEP of faith! | May 27, 2009
- To Tenby
Yes, this was another fit of indecision which captured me: I couldn’t decide between Whitby or Tenby, so decided upon both. I certainly made the right decision going back to Whitby for a few days, although it would have been Posted by NZBarry in Barry in Europe | May 26, 2009

- Headed to North Wales
We picked the car up from Swansea on May 6th and drove north. I was ok with the driving after about half an hour, of course Kevin may say differently. We drove up along the coast which was breathtaking. We Posted by June-Anne in Family Trees and Branches | May 5, 2009

- Cardiff, Wales
Today we visited Cardiff. First we went to the Thornhill Cemetery where my grandmother is buried. We placed flowers on her gravestone and cleaned it up a bit. Afterwards, we made our way off to Cardiff Castle Posted by June-Anne in Family Trees and Branches | May 5, 2009
- Port Talbot Wales
After arriving in Port Talbot on May 3rd at p.m. we were met by my cousin Anne and taken back to her place for a lovely lamb dinner with red wine...yummy! Right up my alley! It Posted by June-Anne in Family Trees and Branches | May 4, 2009
- To Exeter
Another of those crazy days in which I got off to an early start, so early that most in the hostel seemed to be still abed when I left, and yet it was late at night before I was done Posted by NZBarry in Barry in Europe | Apr 19, 2009
