Unser Sleep-in ist eine einfache aber saubere und sichere Unterkunft nur 200m vom Hauptbahnhof im Zentrum Rotterdams entfernt.Das Mafkees ist im Juli und August geöffnet. Benannt nach einem etwas verrückten Schneewittchen gehört die Herberge 'Mafkees' zur Organisation 'Use-it Rotterdam'. Im Mafkees treffen sich Reisende, um ihre Erfahrungen auszutauschen, sich auszuruhen oder einfach nur um an unserer Bar was zu trinken. Wir haben 2 große Schlafsäle, einer für Frauen (24 Betten) und ein gemischter (124 Betten). Last but not least gibt es auch eine 'Honeymoon Suite'-ein Einzelzimmer für Pärchen. Zwar kann man es nicht im voraus reservieren, aber wenn es bei eurer Ankunft frei ist, könnt ihr es für nur 10 euro pro Nacht belegen. Allerdings gibt's ein paar Bedingungen: 1. Ihr müsst frisch verliebt sein. 2. Ihr müsst euch in der Öffentlichkeit küssen 3. Nach einer Nacht müsst ihr zurück in der Schlafsaal. Wer sind wir? Das Mafkees gehört zu 'Use-it', das Informations- und Servicecenter für Rucksacktouristen in Rotterdam. 'Use-it' ist eine Stiftung, die von der lokalen Regierung ins Leben gerufen wurde. Zwischen 11.30 a.m. und 17.15 p.m. ist das Mafkees geschlossen. Kommt ihr zu dieser Zeit an, so wendet euch ans 'Use-it'- Büro. Dort könnt ihr einchecken und euer Gepäck in gratis Schließfächern lassen.
