Gleich um die Ecke befindet sich das überaus attraktive Jordaanviertel mit seinen vielen rustikalen Kneipen, kleinen Restaurants verschiedenster Nationen, Kaffeehäusern mit Uferterrassen, einer grossen Vielfalt an interessanten Geschäften und weniger bekannten, ruhigen Innenhöfen. Alle anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Leidseplein, Rembrandtplein, die berühmten Museen, das Rotlichtviertel und der Nieuwmarkt sind bequem zu Fuss, mit dem Rad oder mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen.
