Many of the streets are lined with Jacaranda trees, which have a beautiful mauve blossom in spring. These trees have earned the city the nickname Jacaranda City, while plans have been put in place to rename the city to Tshwane.

Staff were unhelpful, uninformed about the local area (could not answer basic questions), and seemingly high. Their advertised "airport shuttle" consisted in calling a friend on the phone to pick us up, and (attempting) to charge us twice the proper fare (we opted for a proper taxi in the end). ... more

A Very Friendly Place, Well Organised and the location can't be better situated. Beautiful Place with very Helpful and Informed People, Just the place to get Away from it all.
