Mingtown Nanjing Road Youth Hostel

The place was great, very close to everything (two blocks away from the subway Line 2 from Pudong Airport). It is easy to find though the street that is on is a bit dodgy, the hostel is very clean. The rooms are superb, very very spacious, very clean bathrooms and cheap beer lol. ... more

TERRIBLE!!!!! We booked a room in this hotel, paid deposit and when we arrived, the hotel was under reconstruction,closed and telephone disconnected. Nobody let us knew that the hotel is closed so far we do not know how to get the deposit back. VERY UNPROFESIONAL!!! BE CAREFUL!!!! ... more

Excellent location as walking distance to Bund, nanjing road east. Wifi only works in the ground floor only from morning 10 am to evening 9pm or 10 pm. Toilets and Bathrooms are not good.

A great location. Loved the street markets and the general atmosphere. Very handy for the Metro and, thus, the whole of Shanghai. Staff were very helpful, and the place was kept nice and clean.
