What is there to do/see around Raleigh North Carolina
Hi, I live in Norway and will be visiting family in Raleigh two weeks in August-September. I've never been in that area before and they just moved there so I need some ideas as to what to do/see. I will be off in my own for some days during the stay and since I don´t have a lot of time I need some advise ... -

Colonial Williamburg would be on my list too. However heading south and going to Charleston is great or out to Raleigh/Durham and the research triangle is really nice too. Day 11: Raleigh - Savannah (via Charleston) -9+ Hours of travelling on a bus (this sounds horrible but to be honest it goes quick, we sleep....ALOT, play games, watch movies and yeah thats about the extent you can do on a bus!) -Charleston (Beautiful College town where we saw all the Kappa, Delta etc ...
