One of the best Independence Day celebrations occurs rightfully in the heart of the nation's capitol. Known for its dynamic parade, with incredible marching bands and great displays of patriotism. Popular music artists are invited to perform during this event, and visitors can choose from an array of music concerts held throughout the day. In the evening is the finale event, where a beautiful fireworks display takes over the night sky.

Overall an excellent stay in DC enhanced by the quietest hotel accomodation we have ever had - were we just lucky with our room in a corner location?? Room was not huge but ample for such a centrally stuated hotel . New bathroom fittings ,I believe, with the simplest shower setup - one simple lever instead of a myriad of taps and handles. ... more
