Seminyak is a slightly more upmarket and quieter version of Kuta (to the south), where hostels and hotels do tend to cost a little more. However, it is a very quaint part of Bali where you can find anything you want. Be it a fancy restaurant or a roadside hawker, a warm beer with a live band or a sunset cocktail in an upper class bar.

Nice as long as u want to spend your time outside of the house. Rooms were big and appropriate furnitured as well as equipped with AC, but the bathrooms were pretty disgusting and the location was pretty outside. If u want to save money and enjoy Bali per se, it is a acceptable choice. ... more
