Bohinj

Bohinj is the name of both a city and a valley in northwestern Slovenia. The surrounding Alpine villages, views of the Alps, and general verdure make it a beautiful place. Lake Bohinj is a popular attraction, with hiking trails, boat rentals, and breathtaking alpine scenery. It is near Bled, another of Slovenia's beautiful Alpine settings.

Very beautiful and hospitable accomodation and all for a great price. Breakfast is decent and is all you can eat. There are many things to do and the hosts can book excursions for you. Very close to everything and the hosts recommend great places to eat. The bus station is just outside the accomodation and any times that one needs are all posted. ... more
