I spent my three first Newfoundland nights in St-John's, at Downtown Hostel and it was a rough start. I absolutely dispised the place, but I will try to remain objective. I really liked the hostel. It was quite small and cosy, only three rooms, kitchen and bathroom. The Location couldn't be better, really central in walking distance to everything thats important: historic sites, supermarkets museums, etc. the rooms were nice as well, with everyday cleaning if you liked. ... more
