Funchal

We had a very nice stay in Hospedaria Por de Sol. Very friendly personal, good breakfast. Madeira has a lot of hills, after a long walk it is difficult to climb the last hill to the house and the stairs in it ... Room is simple, but good. I paid a bit more thinking in the gardens around the hotel and the picture of the magazine...big mistake! Small room and, over all, absolutely poor buffet. Good location in the center, but breakfast and dinner always the shame and really really bad food. Service: normal, not bad, not good. If you can choose, go to antoher one ... more
