Budget Accommodation in Windsor

I will have to take a train at Paddington Station to Swansea around 7pm. Between 1pm and 6pm I will be doing nothing in London and I am considering visiting Windsor Castle, but, I don't know how to get there, how long it takes and if it is worth a visit by the time I have.
