I enjoyed my stay at Duke. Dori and his staff were friendly and attentive. He ran a tight ship while not being stingey. He has to make a profit after all. On our NZ travels this was probably the best place we stayed. Mainly due to the owner Dory, we had free pies and pasteries when we arrived and 2 for 1 beers. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent.
