Worst place we ever stayed. Payed 1200 ZAR for 3 single rooms, while we booked two twins. Rooms we very small, very dirty, my sheets were washed out and full with dirty spots. On New Year's Day cleaners were extremely noicy at 8 am and even put on very loud music. Bad location. ... more

We only stayed one night. Booking was easy and without any problems. Our room was on the 3rd floor under the roof and very hot in the morning. The beds are okay, but the floor was old and trammeling and musty. The shared bathroom was quite clean. Unortunately the Wi-Fi did not reach to our storey. ... more

A really great hostel - friendly and helpful staff, great facilities, decent breakfast and a safe location. There's a decent TV room and pool table and some pleasant social areas to hang out in.

We stayed here for 3 nights, fresh off the plane and were very happy. It is the kind of place that you don't want to leave. The owner Mark, is really friendly and made us feel both at home and safe.

We stayed in one of the houses so it was quiet. The people on the desk and the person who looked after the house we stayed in were both very friendly and helpful.

We had a pleasant stay, we slept in one of the private on-suite rooms. A bit more effort can be put into cleaning though, especially the floor.

About half a mile from the train station and close to all the restaurants and bars, Boulders beach is about a 20 min walk away. The train from Cape Town took just over an hour and only cost about £1.
