Fussen
Füssen is a small town in the Allgau region of Bavaria. It is located on the river Lech, and is most famous for the castle of Neuschwanstein that was built just outside the town in the hills. It is also the end of the famous Romantische Strasse (the Romantic road), that starts at Würzburg.

YH Fussen is along side the rail way,and it was reaally nice, beautiful place.A little bit far from the station,and the way to YH was gravel path.So if you travel with suitcase or something,it may be a little bit hard to carry your baggage all the way to the house.But Its nice location to have walk or cycling. This was by far the best accommodation in all our travels around Europe. Charming, perfect location, superb breakfasts. Only one drawback - the noise from the construction site across the street - but I guess that's just temporary. Warm, friendly staff, and free wi-fi in the room. ... more
