Füssen is a small town in the Allgau region of Bavaria. It is located on the river Lech, and is most famous for the castle of Neuschwanstein that was built just outside the town in the hills. It is also the end of the famous Romantische Strasse (the Romantic road), that starts at Würzburg.

Nice little hostel. Extremely close from the train station (not even 1 min walk), the center of the town and the bus station to go to the castles. The rooms were ok (we had a double private), with a locker, a little table and a sink. Also very inexpensive for the place. ... more
YH Fussen is along side the rail way,and it was reaally nice, beautiful place.A little bit far from the station,and the way to YH was gravel path.So if you travel with suitcase or something,it may be a little bit hard to carry your baggage all the way to the house.But Its nice location to have walk or cycling.
