Old school converted to an independant family run hostel with lots of character, located just outside Derry along the beautiful North Coast, cheap internet, FREE breakfast, FREE private parking.

really a nice place, with some delicious oats cookies available (for free) in a drawer.
22-24 Strand Road - Hotel
The hotel's location was a plus. It's right in the middle of the city. Service was just so so; but not a bad deal for the hotel room.

We were both woken during the night by strong winds. Even out of the campervan the winds still disturb our sleep. The winds lasted most of the day too, and we heard on the news later that they got up to 160kph, with trees and powerlines down everywhere. So it was a great day to drive to Derry. The rain ...
