Hurghada is a resort town on Egypt's eastcoast and is popular among tourists wanting to enjoy sun, beaches and snorkelling and diving. Many people come here on package holidays, but there are options for budget travellers as well.

Compared to many budget hotels for lower prices the moon valley isn't worth the price. Bored staff. I didn't feel like staying in a 3 star hotel. Hotel beach is very small! We are wanting to fly from Munich to Cairo, travel by overnight sleeper train to Aswan, take a cruise back up to Luxor and then get to Hurghada. Day 30. Hurghada Egypt
Most people enjoyed today. We got on a boat in Hurghada, and went snorkeling in the Red Sea. I was surprised, there is a lot of coral and fish around. The water is really blue and nice, I doubt it ever looks red. Ive only done snorkling once before, so I only did a little bit this time. I saw a blue parrot ...
