Iquitos is a city in the northeast of Peru and with over 400,000 inhabitants it is the largest city in the Peruvian rainforest. It is also the largest city in the world which can only be reached by boat or plane! The city is the capital of both the Loreto Region and Maynas Province.

its a new hostel, the staff were awesome & V helpful! unfortunately there was water issues (apparently when the river is low) so showers were few & far btween, but the staff did try 2 make the most of it! generally very clean, handy location, i would recommend it (mayb when the water level has risen?) ... more
