Tahiti is the largest and most populated (just under 200,000 inhabitants) island of the Windwards Islands of French Polynesia. It is located in the Society Islands archipelago in the northwestern region of the country. The capital is Papeete.

Not all the rooms has got aircon or fan and in the basement-room, it became 30 degrees + Celcius, day and night. In the pension is no tv at all. Wifi with own laptop is free. tahiti
i don't know much about tahiti - but am in Moorea at the moment. You could easily get the ferry/fly across cheaply for the day or over night - there are some great waterfalls here, or just rent a bike to ride around the island - it's far less populated/developed than tahiti - and i'm deffinately enjoying ...
