I can recommend Phutawan Bamboo Resort on Phi Phi island for all which want to rest from the noise of the disco down on the beach. The worst resort we've stayed in Thailand and it's the dearest one.(we are poor backpackers haha) Tooooooo far from the pier as Phi Phi is so small. For mountains and many trees behind the resort, toooooo manyyyyyyy animals in the room, such as mice and cockroaches, I really don't think they are cute... ... more
The bed has a nice doona and I was cozy. It had a good location to get around but everywhere in town does as it is so small . I did not really enjoy the facilities they were very basic and I really felt like I was not welcome .If I was returning I would choose somewhere else. ... more

Arrived in Koh Phi Phi. After reading a newsletter about the Island on the ferry over, it sounds a good job we came in April as there were apparently 70,000 visitors during Jan/Feb!! It's really busy and full of Brits, a bit like a South-East Asian Magaluf, with Brit breakfast bars and Western music ...
