Kunming
Kunming (昆明) is the capital of Yunnan province. It is known as the "City of Eternal Spring" because of its year-round sunshine and pleasant, moderate climate. An easy-going and convenient hub for travel in Yunnan, Kunming has a population of around 6 million. It's also noticeably unpolluted for a Chinese city of this size.

This location is nothing like any hostel. It is an appartment of which one or more rooms can be rented. The appartments are really modern and clean (ours was located above a huge department store). It is good for a stay of one night if you want to go on from Kunming, but we will not recomment it if you want to go sightseeing in Kunming. ... more
