Good view from roof. Very helpful staff willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. They do a good packed lunch for when you're in amongst the ruins. No bad points at all that I remember. ... more
Rumman Hotel Madaba
We normally stay in budget accommodation, so this was luxurious for us. I cannot fault the hotel in any way. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and arranged well priced taxi trips on two days. (The hotel also arranges transfer to/from the airport, though we did not need them as we were en route to Amman). ... more

I hired a driver from Amman down to Petra, stopping at Madaba, Karak Castle and Mt Nebo on the way down. It was great value and all 3 of those places are well worth visiting.
