Nis
Nis is the second largest city in Serbia proper (excluding Vojvodina and the disputed territory of Kosovo). It is located in the south of the country on the main land routes connecting Belgrade to Bulgaria and Macedonia, and by extension Greece and Turkey.

Rode from Macedonia to Nis in Serbia, the roads are slightly better here although they were doing roadworks so only had a single lane. We arrived late afternoon and checked into a hotel in the town centre. No camping here and it felt good to have a nice bed and breakfast and all the mod cons which come with 4 ...
