Pokhara

Pokhara is Nepal's second city located by Phewar lake which is a popular spot for trekkers going to and from their treks in the Annapurna range. Pokhara is extremely beautiful in its own right, as you can see some of the huge peaks of the Annapurna range including Machapuchare (or 'Fishtail mountain') towering over the town and the lake.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel View Point. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to assist us in organising trips and providing information. Excellent value for money. Karma Guest House

Had a wonderful 5 days at this superbly run family guest house. The owner was helpful right from my initial email enquiry. We had big clean room upstairs with hot shower and verandah to relax and enjoy meals. The view of the snow capped mountains from the roof is identical to the postcards. ... more
