Open Guest House Lima

Great little place if you are on the budget. It's a quiet hostel, so if you are looking to social and party, this is probably not the best place. The owner Marko and his staff is super friendly and would go out of their way to make you comfortable. They arranged a ride for us from the airport.
It is located about 10-15 min for the ruins at Huaca, and 15-20 min from center Miraflores. The room was comfortable with added bonous of a safe, at least in the private double's room. Delicious breakfast is served every morning till 11 am.
Overall a cool little place that I would recommend to friends.

They have hot showers!! The location is also good, close to the train station (5 min walk). Breakfast is served at 430 to get you ready for Machu Picchu. Overall no complaints whatsoever. But, they sure didn't have the towel swans that you see on the pictures
