We stayed here for 2 nights, and had a tight family room up on the top floor of the hotel (no lift), which was OK as our kids could climb up 3 flights easily enough - and we didn't have much luggage. Restaurant was a bit expensive, and so did not eat there for 'optional' meals. Breakfast was satisfactory, although fruit was a bit not fresh. Parking on the street was free, but a bit tricky to find, there is a paid parking lot nearby though (15 euros for a day). Tram into town was easy. Go to the Porsche Museum if you are in Stuttgart... and if you are over 16 (which half our family isn't) you can go through a tour of the factory as well! Staff were pleasant.
The hostel is clean and quiet. Nicely located, close to the city center.
UBahn within walking distance. The twin room was very small, quite difficult to move about
but ok for a couple of nights.
There is a nicely equipped kitchen on the ground floor but it is not open 24 h. You cannot access it before 10 am. Pity.
