Hotel Lake Shore

The best thing about Hotel Lake shore is its location. Located just opposite the Hanuman Ghat, this centuries old Haveli provides an awesome view of Udaipur Lake and ghats. One could spend hours sitting at the window and watching as life goes by in Udaipur.
The rooms are good. I especially liked the sepcial sitting area on an elevated platform along the windows. However, the bathroom needs to be better and the plumbing etc needs attention.
The Owner was a very friendly guy and used to arrange auto etc for us when we went out. Overall, if you are not very fussy about squaky clean bathrooms, I strongly recommend this guesthouse.

Thank you for a very present stay, have been traveling India for only six weeks, been through a number of hotels, the service and reception has left all others behind to date. A little hard to locate as they have been operating for only 7 months. Small, personal, great.
