The staff and family are lovely people. It is the kind of place I wanted to stay in since my first visit to Bali in 2005. I certainly didn't expect hotel-grade anything at a place rated as a homestay. Let's just say that you get what you pay for, especially if you're on a budget. Having said that, the main (although minor) problems I had with my room is that the fan's fastest speed does nothing unless you stay directly in front of it, and that the lighting is very dim. The grounds are meticulously kept, but it couldn't hurt to give the bathroom fixtures a more thorough scrub. Breakfast is a highlight, with fresh fruits (some from their own garden) and toast or pancake.
wonderful service (incl good option for airport pick up)
