The owner of Sublime Apartments has just spent 7 years as a tour guide in Europe for Contiki and noticed that he was catering for more and more couples. He researched New Zealand and found the same thing happening on the backpacker network with a severe shortage of quality, budget apartments. Now he has apartments newly available this year.
There is a mix of studio and one bedroom apartments, all with a queensize bed and a double sofa-bed, so 4 people can stay in each room. You can only book 2 people on here but just let me know if there are extras before you arrive and they are only $20 per night each. All are fully self contained and include all linen. Plus, and this is completely unique to my apartments, you are living amongst the locals. Here you get the real experience you don't always get in a hostel.
The apartments are only a few minutes walk from the shops, bars and beach yet are situated in a beautiful, secluded natural bushclad setting. And best of all this hostel is far cheaper than a motel. In fact, it is about the same as you would pay for a self contained room at a hostel - why wouldn't you stay here?!

We wandered around and got lots of pamphlets at the travel place to see what we are going to do out here. Necha is going on a dolphin cruise ...

Paihia
Nå er jeg i Paihia, Bay of Islands. Fire timer nord for Auckland.
