Le lac Okareka est entouré de plusieurs lacs offrant une multitude d'activités telles que: pêche à la truite Kayak (à louer sur place) Excurssions avec un guide Baignades dans les sources d'eau chaude ainsi que dans les lacs VTT (gratuits si vous restez plus de 2 nuits) Balades Etc… Que ce soit pour découvrir une incroyable région volcanique, profiter d'une magnifique côte à seulement 1 heure de voiture ou tout simplement savourer la tranquilité du lieu, le Lyon's Lodge offre une plateforme idéale pour satisfaire toutes vos attentes. Le Lodge donne accès à une cuisine agencée, à votre coin BBQ privé et selon la saison aux légumes bio du jardin potager. Toutefois si vous le désirez Cheryl vous préparera (à votre charge) un succulent petit déjeuner ou un déjeuner/dîner à la mode "Kiwi". Veuillez prévenir l'hôtesse, car les produits sont évidemment bio et frais. Vous pourrez prendre vos repas dans le patio ou à l'intérieur. Certaines chambres peuvent etre équipée d'un lit supplémentaire pour une troisième personne ou un enfant. Transport disponible depuis l'aéroport ou de Rotorua.
