L'auberge de jeunesse se trouve seulement à 200 mètres à pied de la station de métro Caoyang,, à 20 minutes en bus de l'Aéroport de Hongqiao, et à 50 minutes en bus de l'Aéroport International de Pudong.
A 10 minutes de là , se trouve également le Palais de la Culture 'Shanghai West Workers', Yaxin square, l'Université Normale de East China, ainsi que le Centre Commercial de Zhongshan Park.
Il n y a énormement de transports en communs aux alentours et c'est très facile pour se déplacer.
C'est l'auberge de jeunesse la plus grande de Shanghai.
Les chambres sont comfortables : chambres doubles avec/sans salle-de-bain, chambres simples, dortoirs de 4 lits; avec l'air conditionné centralisé et une télécommande individuelle dans chacune des 150 chambres.

Lors de la rénovation, nous avons souhaité conserver et réutiliser un maximum ce que nous avons trouvé sur place : une grande partie des meubles, des sols et des panneaux muraux qui habillent aujourd'hui les chambres et les espaces communs utilise le bois d'origine.
Nous offrons des chambres doubles avec grand lit ou lits jumeaux, des appartements et des dortoirs non mixtes. L'atmosphère de l'auberge est vivante et animée. Vous profiterez d'un café-bar, d'un accès gratuit à Internet, de vélos en location, d'une laverie, de casiers pour vos bagages, d'un accès 24 heures sur 24, d'un jardin, d'un salon avec télévision et lecteur de DVD, de tables de ping-pong et de billard et d'une salle de lecture calme.
