    Jase, I admit I am a bit prejudiced, but Thailand/Asia gets my vote. There is more nightlife in BKK-Pattaya-Phuket than any man can handle. Phuket has great beaches/diving, Pattaya is cheaper, more variety on nightlife, but just fair beaches/diving. If you have a few weeks, you can sample both ...

  • Booking in advance???
    If your going to Bangkok you should have a few days in Pattaya, there are plenty of good guest houses where you dont need to book but the good ones you may do, try Canterbury Tales Cafe, Pattaya, they have some nice rooms for less than a tenner a night with all facilities. Google the location ...
