Hobart, the capital of Tasmania and Australia's smallest state capital is a charming harbour city. It is Australia's second oldest city, founded in 1803 as a penal colony. Hobart lies at the foot of Mount Wellington and on the banks of the Derwent River.
These three days we spent exploring Hobart. The Hobart Wooden Boat Festival was going on, so we got to see boat races and boat building. There was also an ice skating rink which was very fun. And if you are a seafood person, go to Hobart! Hobart is the seafood capital of the world! DSC_1736 DSC ...
