Il centro de "La Fortuna" si trova a soli 15 km (10 miglia) dal lato attivo del vulcano, e a "la Fortuna" si trovano facilmente escursioni che vi porteranno a conoscere il vulcano stesso ed i suoi incredibili dintorni fatti di jungla e montagne che si gettano nel lago Arenal. Da tempo collaboriamo con la Red Lava Tours, un tours operator specializzato nell'offrire le migliori opportunità per conoscere il vulcano e moltre altre attività realizzabili in zona che con molto piacere vi aiuteranno a pianificare. La Red Lava Tours è anche l'agenzia che si occupa del trasporto da e per il nostro hotel (vedi indirizzo). Loro parlano Tedesco, Inglese, Olandese, Spagnolo e un po' di Francese, così che la comunicazione non sarà un problema.
