Il Centro visitatori è vicino come lo sono i supermercati, una libreria, gallerie, sci e snowboard negozi e una palestra. Ci sono molti posti per mangiare, tra cui take, pasti pub, bar e ristoranti. w vicinanze attività includono lo sci, di mongolfiere ad aria calda, getto d'andare in barca, Il Signore degli Anelli, tour, tandem Sci d'acqua, trekking, golf, rafting, pesca, caccia, mountain bike, equitazione. Pinedale Lodge è un facile 1 ora di macchina da Christchurch International Airport in viaggio lungo la rotta tra Christchurch, Mt Cook e Queenstown. In inverno locale bus navetta sarà prendervi da Pinedale e ti fino Monte Hutt.

    On the South Island, Mt. Hutt (near Methven), Coronet Peak and The Remarkables (near Queenstown) are the main ski resorts.
