Quito is the capital city of Ecuador. It is high up (2,800 metres) in the Andes mountains and the altitude may take some getting used to. The city hosts many wonderful sights including an amazing colonial centre built by the Spanish during colonial times.

Travel Day
Thursday was a travel day for us. We got up at 6:30 am to go to the Cuzco airport and then hung out for 3 hours at the Lima airport, before our flight to Quito, Equador.
