Wir haben das Glueck, uns in einer der schoensten und elegantesten Gegenden der Stadt zu befinden, an der Piazza SOLFERINO,in einer sehr ruhigen Seitenstrasse, via Brofferio, nur wenige Schritte vom Museo Egizio und vom Palazzo Reale entfernt. Das Hotel befindet sich im obersten Stockwerk eines herrlichen, herrschaftlichen Gebaeudes, erbaut am Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts, und bewahrt noch immer viele Eigenschaften aus dieser Epoche: von den Tueren aus Massivholz mit ihren Messing-Tuerknaeuffen bis zu dem ausladenden Treppenaufgang in weissem Marmor und Mosaik, zu den Regalbrettern aus Walnussbaum- und Kirschbaumholz, zu dem Aufzug mit seinen alten Glastueren. Seit ungefaehr 40 Jahren leitet unsere Familie dieses Hotel; zuerst mein Vater und meine Mutter, heute kuemmern ich und meine Frau uns darum, unterstuetzt von unserem Personal.
