The Astra Hotel is an old building with very large rooms which have been totally refurbished and completed in 2011 whilst retaining all the characteristics of the fifties. The hotel is not pretentious but comfortable, airy and having plenty of light.

I had an excellent room with sea views.I always had clean towels but my room was not always cleaned, maybe because i didnt wake up until 2 o 3 pm. They threatd me absolutly good and a recepcionist helped me to take my check in just in the time before leaving hotel ! i had forgoten to do that before!! ... more

Well beach wise you have to visit the blue lagoon, its a lovely place! i stopped at St Pauls Bay and i dont recommend it for a honeymoon its really tourist, maybe stay at Valetta or Sliema there both great places. But apart from that my knowledge on malta is bad. And remember to travel on the little ...
