Taipei (台北 Táiběi) is the capital and largest city in Taiwan with about 10 million people living in the metropolitan area and about 2.7 million in the city proper. It is located in the most northern part of the island at the Tanshui River and is the economical heart of the country.

Location: Zhongshan mrt station is next to the center of taipei, pretty convenient to go everywhere. The hotel is located at 10-15min by walk from this station (if you find directly your way), for certains it's a lot, for others not at all... Cleanliness and room: wifi in the room is nice. Overall a very good experience. The hotel is a bit of a trek from the city center, but the MRT is less than a five minute walk from the hotel which if very convenient. As for facilities, there was no breakfast included, but they did have instant coffee in the room and there is a 7-11 right around the corner where you can pick up a quick snack. ... more
