Head down to the Arts centre near Tema station. Loads of drums are made there. People can be a bit pushy and i wouldn't advise buying anything there (buy it out of Accra, a lot less hassle and better prices). If you make it clear you are there for a while and not a tourist everybody is pretty friendly ...
