Excellent value, right on the beach on the southeast coast of Zanzibar. Good food. They do not take credit cards, so if you don't have a bundle of cash with you, the nearest ATM is an hour away in Stone Town, which is about a $45 taxi ride. However you can arrange an ATM stop on an excursion to Stone Town or a spice tour. ... more

Finding the place was a challenge....no road signs. Driving trough some local housing - very poor - we were worried for the time being.... but once you find the little Jewell it grows on you. I will certainly return with my family. Just make sure the room you settle in is for the payment you made. ... more

Was a nice place to stay, quite cheap. The stuff was friendly and helpfull. The breakfast consisted on different fruits, African coffee, milk, fright eggs, pancake, butter, but very little jam.

Lovely location overlooking the most beautiful beach. Lovely place to relax, rejuvinate the batteries with the locals massage and read a book in a hammock between the palm trees.

The staff is great!!! The food is reasonably priced and quite acceptable. A nice breakfast is included. The eating area is picturesque and as well as the rest of the resort, quaint and quiet. BYOB.

It was a perfect stay, except that you can not swim in the ocean and walk on the beach from the resort. But for visiting Stone Town and doing things in town, it's perfect.

This hotel was in a more remote part of the Island - ideal if you want to be away from the main tourist areas. Beautiful beach and all rooms are literally a few metres from the beach.
