We ask that we would like to go to Negombo from Kandy by fully air condition bus. They told us that we cann. But in fact , we had to take no air con bus. At the bus station , the bus boy said today we do not have aircon bus. The point is the hotel should know transportation information and can make suggestion to customer. ... more

The Mansion

This is the perfect place to chill out for a few days. We only stayed one night and that wasn't enough. The faded charm and elegance is very conducive to just curling up on a chair and reading, but the gardens are beautiful to walk around, and the swimming pool is magnificent. ... more

Very reasonable price & clean rooms. Food was good but ask for it spicy otherwise they will tone it down for a western pallet. Friendly owners but their recommendations for accommodation in other towns are nothing to go by! ... more

The room wasn't that good, and not so clean, I mean compared with euroepan standards. Also in Sri Lanka found better rooms. People from the hotel were great , really kindly and helpfull.
