Hotel Sotavento
We booked for 2 nights but extended it to 6 so obviously very happy. A 5 min walk from the beach and free breakfast. Good value for money - we booked a double with ensuite and there were 2 double beds inside so you may be able to squeeze in more people if you are on a budget. Good luck! ... more
Hotel Margaritas
I found this to be a good stopover hotel when I stayed in 2008, but in May 2009 it was CLOSED for renovation. However, they are accomodating guests at the Radisson which is the same owners....they are offering the same rates as the Margaritas, which ends up being a great deal if you want a hotel in Cancun city. ... more
