Carcassonne is a fortified town in the Languedoc-Roussillon region in southern France. The UNESCO World Heritage listed fortress was restored in 1853 by the architect Eugène Viollet-le-Duc.

Staff nice, friendly and helpfull. Breakfast selection good. Room cramped - nowhere to put open suitcase had to put it inside large wardrobe, also no tea/coffee making facilities in room just a machine in the lobby. Plus side - excellent parking (was able to stay whole of next morning) and easy walking distance to La Cite, so I'd return. ... more
This hotel is located near both the SNCF station and the Medieval Cité (10 mn walk from the station to the hotel, 15 mn walk from the hotel to the Cité). The premises are very clean, and the room was confortable and well equipped. Ensuite bathroom was complete although rather small. ... more
