Chiang Mai (Thai เชียงใหม่) is the largest city in the North Thailand region. It is roughly 700 kilometres north of Bangkok and is a great place to spend some days, or even more if you want to explore the region around the city and do some of the activities mentioned below.

Nice room big comfy bed cris clean linen but To far away from town and nowhere near any forest. My first night I found a 150 mm Centipede wandering round my room and in the morning foul black water came through my sink tap then the Internet stopped working. ... more
We has a very pleasant stay here overall. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The only minor gripes we had are that the bed was way too hard, the shower was either HOT or cold and there were a lot of Mosquitoes around the public areas (guess that can't be helped though!). ... more
